Microsoft and Chinese companies join hands to create Chinese robot service and chat robots

Microsoft promotes Azure Congnitive Service in Taiwan to provide a total of 22 APIs covering 5 categories, including vision, voice, language, knowledge, and search, for use by enterprises. The LUIS semantic understanding of intelligent service API has been cooperated with two major companies, namely domestic information and data decision-making. With the successive investments of Google, Facebook, and Amazon, artificial intelligence and deep learning technology have received increasing attention. Microsoft has not fallen behind and launched the CongnitiveService API awareness service based on Azure cloud platform, allowing enterprises regardless of size. Scale, can stand on the shoulders of the giants easily cross the threshold of technology, develop their own artificial intelligence services, such as artificial intelligence customer service, sales and so on.

Over the past few years, Microsoft has continuously utilized various activities to demonstrate its achievements in artificial intelligence. For example, at the Build Conference this year, Seeing AI was demonstrated. Through the spectacles on the camera, combined with image recognition and voice technology, the blind person was described about the people around them. At the Ignite conference, a self-developed GPFA processor was released to provide the calculations required for artificial intelligence applications. In addition, it cooperated with Uber to use the Face Recognition API of CongnitiveService to help the system confirm the identity security of each driver.

Recently, Microsoft established the artificial intelligence and research department, and reunited the Microsoft Research Institute, the information platform department, Bing, Cortana, and the robot team. More than 5,000 computer science and engineers have invested in artificial intelligence research, demonstrating their determination to invest in artificial intelligence.

Microsoft stated that unlike other companies, Microsoft’s advantages in artificial intelligence, including software assets accumulated from 1991, and having a large amount of consumer information, together with the launch of supporting programs with partners, not only provide enterprises with Use, but also actually applied to their own services.

Currently, Microsoft provides the CongnitiveService API, which contains 22 APIs, including visual, speech, language, knowledge, search, and five categories, such as face recognition, emotion recognition, image recognition, text-to-speech, speech recognition, etc. These APIs can be accessed through Azure. The billing system pays for use, and developers manage it in a unified manner through API Management.
