Cross-strait commodity inspection mutual recognition starts

The reporter learned from the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine that the Electrical Laboratory of Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau’s technical center successfully completed the first energy-saving lighting electrical parameter comparison test between laboratories on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, marking the start of cross-strait commodity inspection mutual recognition. The relevant person in charge of the Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau told the reporter: "Once the cross-strait inspection and quarantine authorities can mutually recognize the test results, the trade between the two sides will greatly speed up."

It is reported that laboratory capacity verification of the inspection and quarantine departments on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will further cover the protective earthing resistance of LCD TVs, digital photo frames, audio cards, and electromagnetic compatibility testing of card readers.
