The first 110 kV intelligent substation in Hangzhou will be located in Lin'an

The 110-kilovolt Shilin Substation is located in Panshan Village, Jincheng Sub-district, Lin'an Qingshan Lake Tourist Resort . The power supply area is mainly Qingshan Lake Tourist Resort and High-tech Development Zone. Since the area is limited by the location of Lake Qingshan, it is very difficult to receive electricity from substations in other areas. Currently, only two 10kV lines are used to provide power. The two lines are in full load for a long period of time, even during peak summer 2009. Overload, lack of reliable power point. The development of real estate in this area has been on the rise, and the electricity used for electrical installations and infrastructure has also risen sharply. There has been a situation where it is impossible to answer the electricity access plan. In order to meet the needs of economic development and load growth in the region, enhance the power supply capacity in this region, and improve the reliability and economical efficiency of power supply in this area, the construction of the 110 kV Shiyin Power Transmission and Transformation Project is imminent.

The 110 kV Shiying Substation is a new all-indoor intelligent substation. Since the State Grid Corporation of China launched two batches of smart grid pilot projects in 2009, the smart substations began to shift from the “pilot pilots” to the “comprehensive construction” phase, especially during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, which is the period of building a strong smart grid. Therefore, the Shili Substation Project was designed according to the implementation rules of the intelligent substation in Zhejiang Province, which realized the requirements for digitalization of the entire station, networking of the communication platform, and standardization of information sharing, and an intelligent auxiliary control system was configured to realize image monitoring. Intelligent linkage control of systems such as fire alarm, fire control, lighting, heating, ventilation, and environmental monitoring. As this project is the first 110 kV intelligent substation of the Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau, this preliminary design review conference not only invited experts from the Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute, but also related experts in biotechnology and dispatch in the Hangzhou Electric Power Bureau. The meeting made valuable suggestions, and finally determined that the first phase of the construction scale of the project was: two main transformers, with a capacity of 50 megavolt-amperes per unit, two lines of 110 kV overhead lines, and 20 lines of 10 kV cables. In the long term, a 50 megavolt main transformer will be added, one 110 kV overhead line will be added, and 10 kV cable will have 10 lines.

The project is expected to start in 2011, put into production in 2012, put into production to meet the development needs of the regional load, but also help rationalize the grid structure and improve the reliability of power supply.
