Hisense Releases Laser TV + ULED Portfolio to Capture Future Living Room

On January 8, during the CES press conference in Las Vegas, Hisense announced its plans to further expand its television and home appliance product lines, offering consumers an extraordinary experience. At CES 2018, the company continued to introduce its "King Combination" of laser TV and ULED technology to the global market.

“This is my second brief statement here: At this moment last year, I was talking about laser television. This year, I’m still talking about laser TV,” said Liu Hongxin, Hisense’s new CEO, expressing his enthusiasm for the technology at the event. He emphasized that laser TV represents a true self-revolution in the history of world television, and that it's a key part of Hisense’s vision for the future living room.

Since Hisense first showcased its laser TV at CES in 2014, the company has continuously introduced new innovations around the technology. From 100-inch 1080p to 100-inch 4K, and then to 100-inch bicolor 4K, and from 88-inch 4K to smaller 80-inch models and even larger 150-inch versions, the rapid development highlights Hisense’s strong R&D capabilities and mature supply chain in the laser TV industry. In the past year, nearly ten laser TV brands have emerged in the Chinese market, reflecting a growing trend of innovation and competition. The theme of “bigger and bigger” has become a consensus in the TV industry, especially at CES 2018.

At CES 2018, Hisense displayed a range of laser TVs, including 80-inch, 88-inch, 100-inch, and 150-inch models. These products are now available in the Chinese market, allowing interested customers to explore the latest offerings under “Hisense 80-150 inch 4K Laser TV New Listing.” During the press conference, Liu Hongxin also shared a compelling story about Hisense’s service team delivering an 80-inch laser TV to a remote mountain village in Chengdu on December 29, 2017. This gesture highlighted how the laser TV market is rapidly expanding and reaching new audiences. Liu believes that the era of television transformation led by laser TV has already begun. What’s more exciting is that Hisense will unveil the world’s largest 300-inch laser theater at the Shanghai AWE exhibition in 2018, which is highly anticipated. In addition to laser TVs, Hisense presented its U9 and U7 series ULED TVs at CES. The U9 model features an impressive 1,000 backlight zones and 4,096-level dimming technology, delivering unparalleled image quality with stunning detail, depth, and clarity.

The event also featured a lively atmosphere, as Hisense invited American football players and sports commentators to join the talk show. The highlight of the conference was the launch of the Hisense U9 World Cup Limited Edition TV, designed for high-quality viewing of major sporting events.

Additionally, Hisense Smart Home made its debut at CES, integrating smart appliances such as security sensors, air quality detectors, and smart lighting systems. The goal is to create a seamless and convenient smart living experience for users.
