Recently, Jiangsu Nanjing University and a computer company developed a successful sensor that can sense changes in the number of passengers in the car through infrared sensors. This sensor has realized intelligent overload management of passenger cars.

The specific function of this sensor is to hang the somatosensory sensor on the top of the car, and it can capture in real time while the car is moving. This system can be used with a GPS system. If an overload is detected, an alarm will be automatically sent in the background. If only the image is scanned, there will be misjudgments. For example, if someone is petite and hidden behind someone else, traditional cameras sometimes cannot determine it, but the three-dimensional depth image captured and formed by the motion sensor can scan the human body more accurately. At present, this system has been tested on long-distance passenger cars in Huai'an. The sensor system will be used more widely in the future, and people will be on the safe passenger vehicles without overloading.
