MSI launches 11 game titles that satisfy VR performance

MSI has officially released up to 11 new gaming laptops, and claims that they all can meet the performance requirements of VR, even among the low-end models.

MSI Releases 11 Gaming Notebooks with VR Support

The 11 game titles span the top GT series and the GS, GE and GP series, all of which have sufficient performance to drive VR helmets such as HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. In the GT series, MSI focuses on the GT72VR Dominator, which uses an IPS material panel (optional 4K resolution), a response time of 5ms, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, the GT series will also provide custom cooling systems to improve heat dissipation.

MSI pointed out that the Cooler Boost Titan cooling system will become a key feature of high-end models. The system will appear in the GT83VR, which consists of dual "whirlwind blade" fans (one of which has 29 ultra-thin blades) and up to 12 heat pipes, keeping it cool even with the Intel Core i7 6820HK processor. .

In GE's mid-range series, MSI said that the GE72VR and GE62VR are geared toward "performance-level players." They provide an excellent audio solution, a color backlit keyboard, and a Cooler Boost button (fast cooling when the machine load increases).

MSI also pointed out that the GS63 Stealth Pro is the world's thinnest gaming notebook (1.9Kg, 17.7mm), but without losing game performance. This model uses an aluminum alloy case and Sairui gaming keyboard.

MSI currently does not give specific configuration parameters for these new games, except that some high-end models will use the Core i7 6820HK. However, the PC maker stated that they will announce complete product information next week.
