An Xiaojie from Beijing has been engaged in the lighting industry for more than 15 years. He is currently the deputy director of the Advisory Committee of the Beijing Lighting Society. His works include Guangzhou International Baiyun Machine, Beijing New Sanlitun, etc., and was invited by the Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association on the 3rd. Hong Kong hosted the Water Cube Lighting Design Seminar.
With water as the design theme of the water cube, An Xiaojie wanted to create dynamic effects such as rising bubbles and water flow, giving people a feeling of change every day. Unfortunately, many designs were not adopted at the end. But I don't feel disappointed. If I can't do it, I will continue to do it. If another water cube doesn't look for me, I will be disappointed. The lack of understanding of the partner is really frustrating.
If 10 is a perfect score, An Xiaojie only designs 3 points for the water cube of the light. He criticized the current design is too bright, the selection is not high enough, he said: This is not under my control, but instead of spending so much money, why not make more changes?
For the Christmas lights on both sides of the Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, An Xiaojie believes that different technologies can be used, such as the effect of lighting the snow, but it is the most important thing to give a happy feeling.
