Alfa Romeo Stelvio "People Ferrari"

The outer diameter of the domestically produced PA11-G2 flat-topped gold-plated probe is 1.02mm.

Alfa Romeo is truly one of a kind. People often refer to it as the "civilian Ferrari," and that short phrase captures the essence: affordable yet high-performance. Compared to its larger cousin, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo is significantly more budget-friendly. The brand has a history of borrowing engines from Ferrari and adapting them for their own models. Not long ago, they launched an SUV, which not only set a new record in mass production in New Zealand but also showcased a casual, Italian flair. However, such a brand identity requires strong financial backing. As the first SUV from Alfa Romeo, it's no surprise that the world's largest SUV market—China—has become its main destination. After the Giulia, Chinese consumers were once again excited to welcome Alfa Romeo’s latest model: the Stelvio.

The Stelvio is a luxury mid-size SUV, positioned directly against top-tier luxury brands like the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5. What sets it apart is its more aggressive sporting style and highly distinctive design. The front grille, with its large mesh pattern and strong family DNA, is particularly eye-catching. The overall body shape is sleek and dynamic, giving off a very energetic vibe.

The design language of the Stelvio is unique and more romantic than its competitors, making the visual impact even stronger. The side profile is smooth and well-proportioned, delivering a powerful and elegant look.

The rear end is sharp and compact, with taillights that add a sporty touch, enhancing the overall energy of the vehicle.

Inside, the Stelvio continues the Alfa Romeo family design with a metal plate on the dashboard. It features a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, offering a sporty feel. The center console houses an 8.8-inch LCD touchscreen, while higher trims come with heated steering wheels and seats for added comfort.

Under the hood, the Stelvio shares the same 2.0L turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, just like the Giulia. The 2.0L four-cylinder engine comes in two power variants. The "280" version delivers 280 horsepower (206 kW) with 400 Nm of torque, while the lower-powered version produces 200 horsepower (147 kW) and 330 Nm of torque. All models are equipped with the same reliable 8-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and responsive driving experience.
