If any of the following situations occur, take immediate action: - The porcelain column is severely damaged and discharging (including the base). - The rod-shaped porcelain column explodes due to thermal discharge. - Contacts are overheated and welded together. - The transmission mechanism is faulty and in an abnormal state. 2. When the knife gate is misaligned (especially for 500kV knife gates) or not straight, try opening it again (either remotely or locally). If the three phases cannot close simultaneously or remain misaligned, for 220kV systems, adjust using an insulating rod or modify the linkage rod. If adjustment is not possible, power off for maintenance. 3. If the knife gate or busbar contact part becomes overheated, immediately request dispatch to reduce the load. Then, use a transfer busbar or other equipment to manage the load accordingly. Enhance monitoring and, if necessary, shut down the power supply. 4. Handling of knife gate malfunctions: - Confirm that the knife gate’s double name is correct and that the operating procedure is followed. - Determine whether the failure is due to an electrical or mechanical issue. Electrical issues should be resolved according to standard procedures. If mechanical issues can’t be fixed, report to the relevant supervisor. - Check if the local knife gate mechanism’s power supply is activated and if the thermal relay has tripped. - Inspect the side door lock’s small switch on the local knife gate mechanism. - Ensure the travel switch on the local knife gate mechanism is correctly positioned. - Use a multimeter to test the contacts step by step. - Identify the problem and unlock any operation that cannot be performed. 5. In the case of "Isolation Switch Control Power Disappears" light plate, the power to the isolation switch relay circuit is lost. The #2 main transformer loop power is taken from 9RD and 10RD on the #2 main transformer interface screen. The control loop for the #2 main transformer’s short lead protection must be adjusted accordingly. Therefore, it is essential to restore the power supply immediately after de-energization and handle the short-lead protection as needed. The loop power for 500kV II string 5021, 5022, 5023 circuit breakers, Jiangmao line reactor, and 500kVI and II mother-knife isolation switches is drawn from the respective air switches on the 500kV second string interface screen. The power for the 500kV III-separated isolating switch control loop comes from the III-series breaker interface screen, while the IV-separated isolating switch control loop power is taken from the IV string breaker interface screen.
