Taiwan to build green energy low-carbon social LED and solar energy is a trend

The “Green Energy Industry Forum” sponsored by the Taiwan Green Energy Industry Development Promotion Association recently closed in Taipei. Hundreds of elites in the government, industry, research, and academia from the Japanese Nuclear Disaster Agency are thinking about the status quo and future development of Taiwan's green energy industry, and providing advice for the sustainable development of green energy and the construction of green cities. The Taiwan side believes that green energy cooperation will become a new hot spot for cross-strait industrial cooperation. Taiwan's green energy LED and solar energy are trends.

Wang Yunming, deputy director of the Energy Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, stated that the government estimates that 25 billion yuan will be invested in five years to promote the establishment of renewable energy conservation and subsidies, leading Taiwan to a low-carbon society.

Liu Wenxiong, chairman of the Green Energy Promotion Association, pointed out that the proportion of nuclear power plants is relatively important in the use of energy in Taiwan. After the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, the people of the world realized that nuclear energy is not an “absolutely safe source of energy.” As for the issue of the storage and abolition of nuclear power plants, it is not as successful as some people claim. And oil is not inexhaustible, so the development of new green renewable energy is a top priority.

Gao Ping, President of Shenzhen Bankai New Energy, pointed out that energy storage has become a key issue for countries under the green industry development trend. Of the Obama administration’s US Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Program (ARRA), 16 of these projects are aimed at energy storage. Obama invested 3.4 billion U.S. dollars last year to build a smart grid to manage energy-consuming appliances such as refrigerators and coolers in people's homes. In the future, investing in energy storage equipment and storage batteries will become the largest industry in 2020.

Gao Ping said that green energy has been closely linked with people’s lives. For example, new products from Bangkai New Energy, such as solar energy storage battery, electric light vehicle battery, tablet computer battery, e-book battery and netbook battery, have concentrated on the new energy battery with high safety factor, small size, light weight, thin thickness and high capacity. High cycle life, environmental protection and pollution-free, recyclable features, their practical application will bring more convenient green life to human beings. And we are concerned about electric vehicles, those quietly appearing green buildings, and solar power silicon panels appearing in the windows of densely populated buildings. We are increasingly aware that new energy is no longer a hollow slogan and the exhibition's Commodities, they can already effectively change our lives and enable Taiwan to become an ideal place for "low-carbon homes." New energy will make our life better.

“Taiwan currently has preliminary achievements in the research and development of solar power generation and light emitting diodes (LEDs). The mainland is also very active in green energy technology. The two sides of the strait may find some cooperation consensus.” Gao Ping said, “Bankai New Energy was established in Taiwan in 2011. If the R&D team can combine cross-strait talents, technology, raw materials, equipment, market and management experience, reduce duplication of investment, and strengthen cooperation in the development of key technologies, it will make the use of solar energy even more popular. It is believed that solar energy and LED will become Chinese. A very prominent industry in the global field."
