Recently, following the ban on the use of incandescent lamps in Australia, Canada, the United States and other countries or their provinces, or the enactment of legislation prohibiting the use of incandescent lamps, EU countries have also reached an agreement that the region will gradually ban the production and use of incandescent lamps before 2009. By then, incandescent lamps that have been popular in the world for more than 100 years will say goodbye to glory.
The oil is tight, the coal is in a hurry, and the peak power is used. After China's energy industry has withstood more than a decade of rapid economic growth, the energy crisis has become increasingly intensified, and energy has become a bottleneck restricting economic development in many places. As the lifeblood of modern industry, commerce and civil use, electric energy has been in full swing in recent years, and it is like a demon in our side. Coal resources, one of the important resources for the production of electric energy, are also becoming increasingly tense. According to relevant media reports, Shanxi Province, which has been a major coal province for many years, has seen a sharp decline in coal resources in the past two years. It needs to rely on coal supply from other provinces, and economic development is plagued by shortage of coal resources. In order to excavate coal, villages with more than 100,000 people will suffer from migration.
In this energy-constrained situation, the light source of the lamp, which is one of the main uses of power-consuming energy, has become the focus of attention of the world. According to statistics, an energy-saving lamp produced strictly according to national standards consumes one-fifth of the electricity consumption of ordinary incandescent lamps. If three-fifths of ordinary incandescent lamps in China are replaced by energy-saving lamps, it will save one year. The power of 100 billion kWh is equivalent to the annual power generation of a Three Gorges project. From this point of view, the standard qualified energy-saving lamps and their promotion play an important role in alleviating China's energy shortage and promoting social and economic development.
Faced with the increasingly fierce contradiction between energy and economic development, the Chinese government has alleviated through various means and measures. In the meantime, vigorously promoting the use of energy-saving lamps is one of the main ways. At the two sessions this year, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council confessed the reality of high energy consumption and serious environmental pollution during the economic development of China. On the 3rd to 15th Consumer Rights Day, at the CCTV set of evening parties, the lighting companies that failed to pass the four energy-saving lamp products found in the AQSIQ spot check were announced, which can also be regarded as relevant functions of the state. The department responded to a call from the government.
The industry believes that the four lighting companies that were exposed this time are still in the middle of the same kind of products in the industry. They are unqualified, which indicates the status of the entire energy-saving lamp industry. Therefore, for the entire energy-saving lamp industry, the situation is already very serious.
How can energy-saving lamps enterprises improve themselves and adapt to the requirements of national economic and social development as soon as possible? The author combines the views of various parties and believes that it can proceed from the following aspects:
First, don't blindly adjust to the deformed demand of the market. Many people believe that there are many low-cost and inferior energy-saving lamps on the market today because of the soil they live in, and quite a few consumers are favoring such products. Although this has its rationality and reality, as a practitioner in the industry, it should stand taller and look farther than consumers. If the energy-saving lamps that consumers buy are energy-saving and not cost-effective, will they continue to use energy-saving lamps in the future? Not only that, but it also makes it lose confidence, which in turn hinders the promotion and use of energy-saving lamps. For energy-saving lamps companies that want to expand into the market in depth, this kind of practice that only pays attention to immediate interests should stop!
Second, accelerate the process of industry integration, and cultivate and establish a strong brand of energy-saving lamps. It is understood that as a lighting industry that is not very eye-catching in China's economy, there are more than 10,000 lighting lighting manufacturers. The chaos caused by this abnormal industrial pattern has directly caused two serious consequences: Vicious competition continues to heat up, intensify, and prices and quality are uneven, making consumers feel at a loss. This not only makes the manufacturers who have the foresight and knows to produce qualified and high-quality products return to the sky, sighs and helpless, but also makes consumers' rights and interests often suffer damage, affecting their confidence in energy-saving lamps. Second, the difficulty of supervision has increased. There are many manufacturers of energy-saving lamps and the brand is disorderly. The low-cost and inferior energy-saving lamp products that have been one after another have made it difficult for relevant departments to cope. Therefore, it is particularly important to standardize the industry, integrate resources, and establish a group of well-known strong brands with high credibility in the lighting industry.
Third, it is imperative to strengthen supervision. The importance of the supervision of government functions in the uneven industry is self-evident. What I want to say here is that after the marketization of the industry, the supervision of government functions is still indispensable. The pursuit of profit is always the ultimate goal of the enterprise. Only by combining the self-discipline of the enterprise with other laws can it provide a solid guarantee for the production of qualified and high-quality energy-saving lamps.
To meet the requirements of national and social economic development, it is undoubtedly a major challenge for energy-saving lamp manufacturers in terms of strength, capital, technology, talents, and market. However, we should be aware that there are challenges and opportunities. The authors believe that the opportunities are mainly reflected in the following two aspects: First, the market capacity is expanded and the market demand is increasing; Second, the industry is conducive to the integration of regulations.
