Texas Instruments (TI) today announced two new PurePath DigitalTM power stage devices. The TAS5261 is the industry's highest power single-chip digital amplifier power stage device capable of driving 4 ohm speakers at more than 300W, while the TAS5162 is a dual channel digital amplifier power stage device that can drive 6 ohm speakers at 200 W per channel.
