Set up a special fund of 5 million yuan to support the development of the lighting industry
I recently interviewed lighting companies in Shangyu, Zhejiang, and heard a lot of exciting news. Chen Huisong, chairman of the company, told reporters that a Belgian bank tried to use the company's "air purification treasure" function lighting, and gave praise, deliberately throwing tens of thousands of product orders. Sunshine Group Co., Ltd. employees are also excited about the news – more than 1,100 primary and secondary schools in Beijing's remote suburban counties have installed “sunshine†energy-saving lamps. These are just partial market reactions to the accelerated upgrade of the Shangyu lighting industry cluster. According to the latest statistics, among the more than 100 lighting electrical appliance manufacturers in Shangyu, there are 52 enterprises above designated size. In 2006, the output value of the whole industry exceeded 5 billion yuan, and a sunrise industrial cluster has taken shape.
"Since the production of the first energy-saving lamps in China in 1984, Shangyu Lighting has not stopped upgrading in the energy-saving and environmental protection industries. This is an important factor in the rise of industrial clusters," said Wu Qingyi, director and deputy general manager of Sunshine. In recent years, Shangyu Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd. has established strategic partnerships with companies such as Philips, Toshiba and Osram, and is committed to research and development and innovation of high-tech controllers such as intelligent controllers, green and efficient lighting sources, and nano rare earths.
The listing of a large number of high-tech products with independent intellectual property rights has enabled the products of Shangyu Lighting Industry to achieve 95% of export performance. The products are sold to more than 40 countries and regions such as Europe and America, and have obtained more than 40 international certifications. Formed an industrial cluster with Sunshine Group with annual sales income of nearly 2 billion yuan as the core, and the differentiated competition pattern has basically taken shape. According to an industry survey, 40% of the main materials produced by Shangyu Lighting Appliances are supplied by local companies. Among them, “Shengjia Lighting†produces various types of lamp holders, which account for 65% of the total domestic market.
In order to enlarge and strengthen the lighting industry, Shangyu City has issued a series of support policies and set up an annual special support fund of 5 million yuan. It is planned that in 2010, Shangyu City will achieve the goal of exceeding 10 billion yuan in sales revenue.
