1 Project Background

As an important part of the capital's infrastructure, Beijing's urban rivers and lakes provide water for industrial and agricultural use in the capital, landscaping and domestic water supply, provide basic guarantees for the sustainable development of the city, and are also important sights in the capital. However, with the continuous progress of society and the continuous development of economy, the degree of eutrophication in the rivers and lakes of Beijing has become increasingly serious, which has jeopardized the ecological balance of water bodies and the physical health of surrounding residents. Among them, Yuyuantan is a typical Beijing lake water system. It has a long water quality replacement cycle, slow flow velocity, and shallow water level. It is very easy to enrich nutrients and form a state of heavy eutrophication. This can easily lead to the outbreak of cyanobacteria blooms, resulting in a larger environment and Ecological hazards.
In order to maximize the protection and use of Beijing's environmental water, reduce the water environment treatment cycle, reduce energy consumption, improve the effectiveness of governance, and accurately predict the occurrence of water bloom, Beijing Jinkong Automation Technology Co., Ltd. and the Beijing Intelligent and Control Network Laboratory of Beijing Technology and Business University Developed a GPRS-based water quality wireless remote monitoring and water bloom intelligent forecasting system for field application in the Yuyuantan lake water system. The system can realize the real-time collection, transmission and automatic monitoring of the water quality parameters of the waters. It can also predict the outbreak of water blooms, provide an auxiliary decision-making system for water environmental protection, and receive strong support from the government.

2 system components

The GPRS-based water quality wireless remote monitoring and water bloom intelligent forecasting system consists of a data management module, a water bloom forecasting and warning module, and a Web publishing system. It can monitor river and lake water quality information and provide early warning of water bloom outbreaks in a predetermined period. According to different water quality information update and upgrade forecast model.

Data Management Module This module receives the Yuyuantan water quality parameter data information transmitted by GPRS wirelessly, and stores the water quality information data in the database. The database is designed using a relational database model. Among them, the data packet number, packet time identifier, and source terminal number of the data packet are the main query basis fields. The total phosphorus, total nitrogen, chlorophyll concentration, dissolved oxygen and other information are classified into corresponding data tables. Access and maintenance management work is done by ADO technology combined with SQL commands.

· The water bloom forecasting and early warning module system uses COM technology to make the prediction model built by Matlab into a COM component embedded in the VC development system. This hybrid programming technology can give full play to the convenience of MATLAB language programming and the advantages of programming complex algorithms. VC programming features powerful, fast computing features, and can be updated at any time based on the need for neural network components, enhance the software's practicality and scalability.

Web publishing system The result publishing layer is connected to the central data and can retrieve and display the water bloom forecast results according to different query conditions. The Web publishing system has the functions of real-time data display, historical data and curve query, forecast results and curve query. As the Web publishing system uses a combination of PHP and MySQL database dynamic web development technology, so that the entire publishing system has a simple maintenance, easy to expand, the database is simple and so on. Users only need an ordinary PC that can access the Internet to log on the website at any time to view water quality monitoring data and water bloom forecast results.

3 application effect

The system combines the automatic remote water quality monitoring system and the water bloom warning model, and realizes real-time remote transmission of water quality information through GPRS wireless communication technology. It integrates the water quality information of different sites into the monitoring center, and uses VC++ programming to flexibly set up the system for man-machine operation. The interface can intuitively display, query, count and analyze the monitoring data, and combine real-time forecasting with the current status of the water environment. In order to facilitate the user to view monitoring and forecasting data, the system uses PHP technology for Web publishing. The user can visit the website at any time to view relevant information, providing valuable and effective reference for the real-time monitoring of water quality of rivers and lakes and automation of water bloom warnings. Provides the decision basis for water bloom prevention and control.
